Passion fruit and Orange Sorbet recipe
Ingredients:
10 Passion fruit.
2 kg Oranges.
250 gm Caster sugar.
Directions:
Juice the oranges and put the juice in a pan with the sugar and heat gently until the sugar has all dissolved.
Leave to cool.
Scoop out the flesh of the passion fruit and strain by pressing the pulp through a sieve.
Mix the passion fruit juice into the orange mixture.
Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and freeze for 2 hours.
Remove from the freezer and using an electric whisk, puree until the sorbet is smooth.
Put the sorbet back into the freezer and leave until it hardens again. This should take around 4 hours.
